This week, the Fair Deal Democrats Podcast is pleased to have noted author/playwright Paula Kamen join us for a vigorous discussion of her two new plays, the continued relevance of her classic play, Jane: Abortion and the Underground. art in the age of Trump, and much else.
Her new short play, "The Side Effect: Or Fecal Attraction," debuts at Yippiefest, a three-day fringe theater festival at the Chopin Theater in Chicago on Saturday, August 16 at 3:30 pm. It is directed by Iris Sowlat and starring Pearlie Leaf and Steven Horn.
Her play, Dionne’s Room, will be performed at the Fines Theater on Saturday, September 20th at 7pm.
